COVID19 Update as as of 4/26
How we're thinking about the next 4 weeks
Members,
On April 16th, the federal government put out a three-phased approach for re-opening businesses and the economy. With the information that's out there, here's how we're thinking about the next few weeks.
The document says, “Gyms can open if they adhere to strict physical distancing and sanitation protocols.”
It mentions the guidelines are "voluntary" and that state governments hold the final decision on reopening.
Since Allegiate is California business, we follow orders from our state government. And in terms of more information from the state, May 15th is the reevaluation date for the extended stay-at-home mandate we’re currently under.
So, we're waiting for the state and county's direction on that before officially proceeding.
However, in anticipation and preparation of official guidelines from the county and state, we’re doing what we can right now to be prepared for opening – from a physical distancing and sanitization protocol standpoint.
Our goal is to have the prep work done so we can open as safely and quickly as possible when that time comes.
So we’re doing what we can right now with the information we have to open a safe, clean facility and taking protocols for keeping everyone safe.
Of course, we'll update you all as soon as we know more.
